  • Built as two family home

  • Romanesque revival redstone

  • Designed, built and home of Oliver G. Traphagen

 

1896

  • Traphagen moved to Hawaii

 

1897 - 1908

  • Chester Congdon lived in home with family until the Glensheen Mansion was built

  • Converted by Congdon family estate into nine unit apartment building

 

1919 - 1935

  • The house remained in Congdon family 

 

1935 - 1972

  • Passed through numerous owners

  • Duluth real estate entrepreneur Ben Overman added apartments to Twin Ports rental properties

  • Howard Klatzky purchases apartment building of business

  • Used as residential and commercial space for HTK marketing communications 

2014

  • HTK relocates to new location in Canal Park, Duluth, MN

  • Fire damages building

 

2015 - 2017

  • Redstone Mansion is restored and converted to 11 modern luxury lofts
